Assistant Financial Manager

Assistant Financial Manager required for a reputable property company based in East London Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Financial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the company's financial activitiesRESPONSIBILITIES:Review of monthly costings and recoveries for the construction divisionPrepare monthly management accounts.Review junior staff journal entries and prepare other monthly journal entries for the Financial Manager to review.Prepare year end journal entries and financial statements in accordance with IFRSLiaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of the audits in terms of group requirements and Companies Act.Prepare management accounts based on final trial balance.Assist with the yearend stock counts.Any other tasks as required by the financial manager.REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree in Accounting (Minimum).SAICA Articles completed (Minimum).Honours in Accounting (Advantageous).Experience in financial role and managing of staff.Financial Reporting and Budgeting.CaseWare FS preparations in IFRS.SAGE 300 (Advantageous).Driver License.SKILLSStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Adapting and responding to change.Attention to detail. Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Emily Lessing at
