Assistant Financial Controller – 5* Hotel (Cape Town)A 5-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a meticulous and proactive Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance team. The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all financial policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to assist in decision-making.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal financial guidelines.Assist with audits and implement recommendations for financial improvement.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial efficiency and cost control.Requirements:Relevant financial or accounting qualification.Recent experience in a senior financial role, within a 4* or 5* hospitality environment.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.South African citizen.To Apply:Please submit your updated CV and a recent profile photo.
