Assistant Finance Manager

Manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are metReview and present monthly management accounts, internal reports, and annual financial statements to senior managementOversee annual audits and reviews, ensuring timely and effective completionSupervise external and internal reporting, including compilation of management packs and compliance with regulatory requirementsEnsure accurate submission of VAT returns, statutory documentation, and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.Manage cash flow, prepare forecasts, and oversee daily operations of various bank accountsHandle debtors, and creditors, and liaise with equity partners on financial mattersOversee budgeting, expense management, and financial forecastingMaintain accurate records of stock, art, and property managementReview payroll and manage HR-related tasks for direct reportsCoordinate ad-hoc tasks as required by the organizationSkills & Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial role within financeProven experience in preparing management accounts and dealing with foreign currenciesStrong communication skills, team management experience, and a positive dispositionExposure to international finance or travel is advantageous Qualification:Relevant finance or accounting degreeSAICA or SAIPA articles preferredProfessional designation preferredExperience in a similar role across diverse jurisdictions and industries Contact OLIVIA MELTZER on
