pressure, Meeting deadlines.ResponsibilitiesAsset ManagementManagement of the AssetsManaging and ensuring assets are well maintained in order to sustain useful livesManage and ensure all assets are accounted for, thus assets are recorded on the verification lists and that these lists are signed offManagement of Information in the Asset Management section of all asset purchases (before and on delivery to ensure the assets can be bar-coded) Providing co-operation with general asset verifications by the Asset Management teamMonitor and review the capturing of all physical (moveable and immoveable) assets in the physical asset management registersMonitor and review the allocation of assets to asset holdersOversee and review the monitoring of assets in accordance with the relevant policy and proceduresPromote correct implementation of sound asset management practicesSupervise employees to ensure sound physical asset managementManage and ensure the effective, efficient and economic utilization of the moveable assets procured, owned or rented by the departmentRegulate the procurement, utilization and disposal of the moveable assetsManage and ensure the ongoing availability, updating and maintenance of a valuable, comprehensive departmental assets register and Assets Management systemEnsure timeous reporting to National Department and resolve the
