Assistant Director: Annual Returns (12-month fixed-term contract) (Ref #: OHSC 29 /2024)Salary: R 552 081 per annum (plus 37% in lieu of benefits)
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in health sciences field.At least 5 years' experience in health care, 3 of which must have been in direct patient care.Experience must include health data analysis and/or management of health information systems.Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Postgraduate qualification in health care will serve as an advantage.Experience in health quality management/case management/project management in healthcare will serve as an added advantage.Duties: Manage the administration of the annual returns information system.Assist health facilities with annual return submission processes.Support the development of procedures and protocols (governance systems) for the submission of annual returns on the annual information system.Monitor and verify the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data submitted.Maintain and monitor an updated national health establishment register.Assist with any ad-hoc tasks required by the unit.Closing Date: 11 November 2024
