This visionary leader will be integral in the pursuit of LCME accreditation and will be responsible for establishing and leading the alignment of academic and operational processes.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in medical student education, including curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation oversight, with a strong emphasis on quality improvement, interprofessional education, and maintaining a culture of educational excellence.
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Curriculum position at the company's new medical school will be an accomplished physician leader with an MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent degree and at least five years of experience in medical student education.
They should have a deep understanding of curriculum development and evaluation, as well as knowledge of evidence-based and active learning methodologies.
The role requires a commitment to educational research and scholarship, and the ability to work collaboratively with the medical education leadership team.
