Assistant Camp Manager

Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Assistant Camp Manager 5* Safari Camp- Central Kalahari, Botswana An interesting opportunity for a Motswana candidate with a unique set of skills, including leadership, operational excellence, and cultural sensitivity. You will be responsible for managing lodge operations, vehicle maintenance & upkeep, reserve management, firefighting, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the organization.

Please note: this position is only open to relevant Botswana Citizens.

Requirements: Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality (e.g., Lodge Management, Tourism, etc.) Minimum 8 years' experience in the hospitality industry with at least 4 years in a similar type position. Strong maintenance and reserve experience: Able to manage the conservation and upkeep of the reserve side- vehicles, game drives, concession permits, firefighting equipment, etc. Lodge operations: able to manage the daily operations of the camp and ensure guests are looked after to 5* standards. Exceptional people skills with both staff and guests. Mature, responsible individual who is used to remote working. Organised and detailed: ensures all operations are running smoothly and to schedule. Must have a valid Driver's license. Package: Salary: 10,000-15,000 BWP per month D.O.E.
