Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.WHAT YOU'LL DOAdministratively supporting all aspects of the buying/merchandise process.Ensuring timeous placement of orders into the purchasing system.Responsible for buy plan 'order book' - ensuring that all orders are placed timeously, all information is correct, and deliveries are met.Processing all PO changes and amendments.Compiling, balancing and updating spreadsheets and reports to support wider merch team & business queries.Working closely with the inbound supply chain team - administering merch support on all purchase order/delivery investigations or changes.Building constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Communicating merch-relevant updates and information with other departments such as catalogue, customer service or marketing.Product issue investigations & taking corrective action (Buyplan, PMM & reporting checks).Triaging vendor queries - prioritisation and problem-solving.Assistance with preparations prior to presentations and reporting periods.General office administration and ad hoc duties as required by the department.Maintaining quality assurance control and audit of samples.WHO YOU ARE:This job is for you if you have:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.Matric, Higher Certificate or Diploma.2+ years of experience in a similar role.Experience using software for merchandising and inventory management.Highly organised, numerate, and have exceptional coordination ability.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain working relationships.Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated.Ability to multi-task and be flexible.One or more of the following will help you stand out:Strong attention to detail.Quick thinker & decision maker / proactive.Fast learner - able to grasp processes & systems quickly.Able to work with a large workload and remain efficient.Able to work with a team.Positive attitude.JOINING THE BASH TEAM: WHERE YOU'LL BEWe are intentional about connecting and give you the tools & equipment to enable you to do work that matters.
