Assistant Branch ManagerWe require an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for our Northgate branch.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Assisting the branch manager with personnel management issues (HR related)Assisting sales staff with customer, stock or services queriesEnsuring the biometrics clocking system is correct for all employees in the branch for payroll purposesRelieving the cashier/receptionist when neededLiaising with buyers regarding special ordersAssisting sales staff and customers on the floor when neededFiling and admin of the branchRequirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience as an assistant manager in the furniture/retail industryMust be prepared to work on weekends and public holidaysOwn transport essential (public transport will be acceptable, if reliable)Must have Grade 12 / MatricClear criminal recordSouth African citizen / Permanent South African ResidentReside in/or near the areaJob Type: Full-timeEducation:High School (matric) (Preferred)Experience:Management (retail): 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Drivers License (Preferred)
