Assistant Boutique Manager

As the Assistant Boutique Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our onboard boutique. You will work closely with the Boutique Manager to oversee all aspects of the boutique, including inventory management, sales, and customer service. Your main responsibility will be to assist in creating a unique and luxurious shopping experience for our guests, while also achieving sales targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Boutique Manager in the day-to-day operation of the onboard boutique, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests, answering their questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Work closely with the Boutique Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
- Train and supervise boutique staff to ensure they provide top-notch customer service and meet sales goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving sales performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized boutique, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and entertainment, to promote boutique products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or boutique management role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R15000,00 - R20000,00 per month
