We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Assistant to join our medical team.
The ideal candidate will provide support to our medical staff and help ensure a smooth operation of the surgery.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and manage the check-in/check-out process.Schedule appointments and manage the doctor's calendar.Assist with patient records and maintain confidentiality.Prepare examination rooms and assist during medical procedures.Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.Process patient payments and insurance claims.Perform administrative tasks as needed.QualificationsPrevious experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information.Proficient in office software (Ms Office) and electronic health record (EHR) system.Grade 12, with further education or certification in medical assisting is a plus.
