The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is a regulatory body established in terms of Section 2 of Act No. 44 of 2000. SACAP regulates the architectural profession by setting standards for architecture education, training, registration, and ethical and professional conduct.
Position: Assistant Administrator: Stakeholder Relations The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Support in developing, reviewing, and implementing the Stakeholder Relations Strategy.Update the information in the event calendar.Support the development of an outreach program to enhance the recognition of architecture as a key field within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by stakeholders.Support the outreach program to ensure architecture is recognised by stakeholders within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.Support with the application and review of the Stakeholder Relations Policies and Procedures.Support in initiating engagements with stakeholders to influence the mandatory involvement of registered professionals in building designs.Support with monitoring media releases to ensure proper coverage of SACAP.Support with the development, design, and ensure the production of corporate and branding material (e.g. Annual Reports, Brochures, banners, business cards, signage, etc.).Distribute branding material.Support with the facilitation of Media Campaigns and Press briefings.Support with completing communications plans.Support with the facilitation of strategic and key events.Assist in the development and review of a Corporate Communications Plan.Support with the facilitation of the design and development of corporate and external stakeholder publications as well as internal staff publications.Support with maintaining the website for corporate, external, and internal staff communications.Requirements Relevant Diploma in Marketing or Communication.Minimum of 1-year experience in a Marketing, Public Relations, or Communication environment.In this position, you will be reporting to the Officer: Stakeholder Relations.
