Assistant Accountant: Manufacturing And Projects

Minimum requirements: BCom Honours Accounting or Management Accounting CIMA or studying toward CIMA will be advantageousMinimum3 - 5 years' experience in Manufacturing / Costing AccountingResponsibilitiesDocument and maintain standard process costing system including policies and proceduresMaintain and ensure accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and individual Product CostingAnalyse variance against standards including reasons and assist with action plansEnsure accurate stock valuation, including raw materials, work in progress, cost of sales and valuation of wasteEnsure the revaluation of stock from standard to actual at financial year-endMaintain the integrity of the inventory and production modules in the ERP systemConduct monthly inventory counts and reconciliation to the inventory modulesEnsure adherence to a sound Project Financial Management Framework (PFMF) that will support the strategy of the company in accordance with IFRSMonitor project costs against budgets and cash flow forecasts to ensure compliance to approved budgetsPrepare comprehensive management accounts and report monthly to stakeholders on projectsConsultant: Edna Anderhold - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
