About the Job: Assistant Accountant/Junior Accountant (Xero)Position: Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant/PayrollLocation: DurbanvilleSalary: R22 000 - R28 000 pmA UK Based Accountancy Firm of Chartered Accountants seeks a Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant/Payroll to handle capturing, financial administration, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax.
Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience is required.
The minimum qualification is a bookkeeping/accounting diploma or equivalent.
Good communication skills in spoken English and via email are essential.
Experience working on Xero Accounting software across multiple organizations is necessary.Duties and Responsibilities:Working on Xero Accounting software across multiple organizations.Reconciliation of client bank accounts.Bookkeeping on accounting software and hard copies.Weekly and monthly payroll processing.VAT preparations and submissions.Regular communication with clients to ensure all missing information is supplied.Handling small ad-hoc requests as they arise.Diary management for the team and answering client questions (mainly by email).
