Assistant Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of various producer reports Reconcile and maintain cost invoices to be deducted from producer payments Review accuracy of various financial sources used in sales Maintain grower reconciliation and interest calculation files Perform profit/loss on consignment reconciliations upon completion of sales Communication with producers and pack houses Sundry duties as may be required REQUIREMENTS: Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification 2 3 years experience in bookkeeping Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting packages Relevant knowledge of computer systems (accounting and exports) Ability to work independently, take quick and accurate decisions and be able to meet deadlines. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail. Good interpersonal and communications skills.
