Requirements: Candidates who are immediately available will be given first preference Matric Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (preferred) Previous experience in account management or customer service is an advantage but not required Previous experience working with reclaiming of VAT and SARS is required Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn Basic duties include, but are not limited to: Client Support: Assist in maintaining and nurturing client relationships. Respond to client inquiries and provide timely solutions Account Management: Collaborate with senior managers on client portfolios. Monitor account activities and track performance metrics. Prepare and deliver client reports, proposals, and presentations Administrative Support: Update and maintain client records in the CRM system. Coordinate meetings, schedules, and follow-ups Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams to ensure client deliverables are met. Contribute to brainstorming and strategy sessions for client accounts VAT Compliance: Ensure accurate calculation, preparation, and submission of VAT returns in compliance with SARS regulations. Monitor and implement updates to South African VAT laws and regulations. Conduct VAT reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Tax Advisory: Provide expert advice on VAT implications for business transactions and projects. Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop VAT-efficient strategies. Assist in structuring transactions to ensure VAT compliance while optimizing financial outcomes Audit Support: Liaise with SARS during VAT audits and investigations. Prepare and present required documentation to resolve VAT queries. Ensure all VAT-related records are audit-ready and compliant with legal requirements Training and Support: Provide VAT training and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with finance and legal departments to ensure cohesive tax compliance strategies Process Improvement: Develop and implement robust VAT management systems and controls. Identify and mitigate potential VAT risks in business operations
