Assistant Accountant

My client is an industry leader in the manufacturing space, founded nearly 5 decades ago and boasting a strong global presence with operations in over 50 countries. They are listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and have many subsidiaries in the industrial and manufacturing space. They seek to employ someone to handle general financial accounting duties for one of the key subsidiaries. Job Experience & Skills Required: Must have a BCom Completed articles or minimum 3 years experience in a similar role Must have experience on Kerridge or similar ERP system Must have foreign transactions experience non-negotiable Key Responsibilities: Fixed asset register Processing invoices Month end reconciliations VAT and tax submissions Preparing Annual Financial Statements and integrated reporting Tax submissions If the above sounds like you, apply now to be considered.
