Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities: Ensure appropriate accounting policies are applied during the preparation of yearly budgets Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable Assist with tax returns, work independently on account reconciliations and handle loading of payments on Standard Bank Business Online Reconciling unmatched payments to uncaptured invoices and credit notes General ledger reconciliations Analytical evaluation of vendor accounts against payments made Assist with external audit preparation Requirements Grade 12 Tertiary education in bookkeeping or finance Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
