SHE: Contribute to health, safety and good housekeeping in the workplace Applying safety, security and housekeeping Quality Management System: Comply with the requirements of the Finance Quality Systems Policies and Procedures: Comply with the Company Policies and Procedures Financial Control: Participate in the Audit process Adhere to Financial Policies and Procedures Protect company assets (working capital & fixed assets) Detect and prevent fraud Promote good Corporate Governance Customer Relations: Liaise with OEM customers regarding receipts and account queries Internal Control: Comply with Internal Controls General Ledger: Prepare monthly accrual journals Prepare monthly standard journals Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Audits and Year-End Processes: Liaise with auditors and provide support for samples and other queries Cash Management: Prepare daily cash forecasts Prepare 6 day 3 weeks forecast Submit reasoning for actuals versus forecast Forex: Submit applications for forward cover and spot cover Prepare payment according to maturity dates Raise goods in transit and other possible accruals Debtors OEM: Credit Vetting: Open new OE accounts Debtors Management: Allocate all receipts to Debtors accounts Manage debtor portfolio ensuring the OE debtors book has no overdues Resolve all account queries Follow up on unpaid invoices and provide necessary documentation to clients Prepare and allocate Credit Notes to queries/Invoices Prepare and submit weekly OEM uploads Issue and file Statements Maintain Master File detail per Debtor (Debtor Profile) Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts Reconcile customers payment and remittance to Invoices Analyse age analysis and follow up on long outstanding amounts Meet regularly with Financial Controller to work through overdue debt and setting up actions to recover funds. Daily, weekly and monthly debtors report Monthly and Quarterly Reporting Prepare ECL calculation on a quarterly basis and process adjustments to the provision Prepare monthly credit note provision and process adjustments Process monthly undelivered sales journal Capture actuals, budget and forecast on Finnivo Capture budget and forecast on Qlik Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and make recommendations for improvements Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives Ad hoc duties: The employee agrees to perform any reasonable duties expected by the company and the nature and scope of duties may be altered, varied or extended by the company from time to time. Notwithstanding that the employee is employed in this position, the employee may be required from time to time to render other services at the request of the company. Minimum qualifications: Grade 12 National Diploma or Degree in Finance Minimum 2-3 Years experience in similar role
