Purpose Statement To improve claims operational excellence, increase customer satisfaction, minimize losses for Capitec Insurance through accurate and holistic assessment of non-medical claims, including but not limited to Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance claims in accordance with terms and conditions of the policy, S.A legislative frameworks and goals, objectives, processes and standards set by Capitec Life. Experience MINIMUM: More than 2 years practical experience in Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance Claims Assessment. IDEAL: Practical experience on assessment of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance products. Occupational certificate of course on long-term life Insurance Claims Assessor. Qualifications (Minimum) Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational. Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Forensics. Knowledge MINIMUM: Understanding of the long-term insurance industry and claims handling processes. Knowledge of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance Products. Knowledge of relevant legal framework relating to funeral and life insurance claims. IDEAL: Practical experience on assessment of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance products.
