To improve claims operational excellence, increase customer satisfaction, minimize losses for Capitec Insurance through accurate and holistic assessment of non-medical claims (Life, Funeral, Credit Life Insurance etc.) in accordance with terms and conditions of the policy, S.A legislative frameworks and goals, objectives, processes and standards sets by Capitec Life
ExperienceMinimum of 3 years functional/practical experience in funeral and or life insurance claims assessment.Experience in stakeholder management and client engagementQualifications (Minimum)Grade 12 National Certificate / VocationalQualifications (Ideal or Preferred)A relevant qualification in Healthcare or ScienceKnowledgeMinimum: Understanding of the long-term insurance industry and claims handling processes and Knowledge of Funeral and Life Insurance ProductsKnowledge of relevant legal framework relating to funeral and life insurance claims Ideal: Knowledge or practical experience on assessment of Credit Life Insurance products, especially retrenchments and death claims.Occupational certificate or course on long-term life Insurance Claims Assessor SkillsAdministration SkillsAttention to DetailNumerical Reasoning skillsPlanning, organising and coordination skillsConditions of EmploymentClear criminal and credit record Capitec is committed to diversity, applications to this position will strictly be considered in support of our employment equity goals.
