Assembly Process Engineer - Port Elizabeth (Ss-Pe)

Vacancy: Assembly Process Engineer A vacancy for an Assembly Process Engineer has arisen in the Process Engineering Department reporting to the Senior Process Engineer.

Purpose To plan, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to support meeting the company's manufacturing and business objectives according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.

Key Performance Areas Provide management with the information to effectively manage the company's resources. Improve productivity and scrap rates within the areas of delegated responsibility. Manage the planning and implementation of process optimization. Ensure compliance with the company's business requirements, customer-specific requirements, quality standards, health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and legislative requirements. Develop control plans and provide technical input and problem-solving using the 8D process for potential and actual process failures. Manage process engineering projects and resolve engineering problems with internal departments and OEMs. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Electrical/Mechatronic/Technical Diploma/Degree with 3+ years of experience or Electrical/Mechatronic Trade Tested with 5+ years of experience. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel). Experience: High-speed assembly process and equipment knowledge, PLC and Yaskawa Robot programming experience, Ultrasonic, Hotplate, and Vibration Welding experience, working knowledge of electro-pneumatic equipment design, FMEA and Control Plan knowledge and experience.
