Assembly Maintenance Shift Technician (EE) Uitenhage Reference PE002522/CV Location Eastern Cape, Uitenhage Salary Interval Monthly Package None-negotiable Description Our client in the Automotive components manufacturing industry, based in Uitenhage (38 kms out of Port Elizabeth), is currently looking to employ an Assembly Maintenance Shift Technician (EE). Job Overview: To lead the Assembly Shift maintenance team, to plan and improve maintenance on assembly equipment in order to support meeting the company's manufacturing objectives and business objectives according to the ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.An exciting career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics.Trade Tested in Electrical / Mechatronics / Millwright preferred.A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience at Technician level; 5 - 7 years of experience Trade Tested preferred.Yaskawa Robot, PLC and HMI programming experience.Cognex and Omron cameras knowledge.Nordson adhesive applicators experience.Ultrasonic welding, Vibration welding and Hot Plate welding experience.Electro Pneumatic experience.Laser Engraving Knowledge.Responsibilities, but not limited to:Provide management with information with which they can effectively manage the organisations resources.To improve productivity and scrap rates within areas of delegated responsibility.To install & maintain all mechanical equipment, plant & machinery in good working order to ensure an adequate provision of machine and process capacity to production at all times.To install & maintain all electrical equipment, switch gear, plant & machinery in good working order to ensure an adequate provision of machine & process capacity to production at all times.To install & maintain all pneumatic equipment, cylinders, actuators & valves in good working order to ensure an adequate provision of machine & process capacity to production at all times.Supervise and coordinate the artisans on shift.Kindly be advised that should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.  I've applied, now what?
