Job Title: Procurement Manager About Our Client:As a leader in the fruit wholesale sector, our client is dedicated to sourcing top-quality produce while fostering sustainable practices and strong producer relationships. They are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Procurement Manager to oversee procurement operations in the Eastern Cape.Position Overview:The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and growing relationships with producers in the region (Kirkwood, Patensie, Addo, Katrivier). This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a passion for agriculture.Key Responsibilities:Build and nurture relationships with fruit producers to secure high-quality produce.Negotiate procurement agreements that align with the company s quality and budgetary standards.Monitor market trends and implement strategies to optimize procurement activities.Work closely with logistics and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations.Maintain detailed records of procurement activities and supplier interactions.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience in procurement in the agricultural or fruit industry.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of agricultural practices and the fruit supply chain.Ability to work independently and travel within the Eastern Cape.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Driver's license and own reliable vehicle.Location: Patensie.Salary: R40 000-R50 000 per month, negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience.Position Type: Full time, permanent.Please apply online if you meet the above-mentioned requirements.Please consider your application as unsuccessful if you have not been contacted within 4 weeks.
