PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment of the plant.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Ensure effective planning of maintenance.

•Communicate stock levels and stock shortages.

•Control stock levels and critical spares.

•Manage budget effectively.

•Maintain quality and ISO standards.

•Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance.

•Manage and control stock losses.

•Plan and control of overtime and wage costs.

•Ensure housekeeping is up to standard.

•Ensure the effectiveness is executive on the cost of maintenance and electricity.

•Develop, motivate, train and appraise direct reporting staff.

•Performing of additional tasks as and when required and performing it to best of ability and according to company standards and procedures.

•Adhere to health, safety and bio security policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
