Artisan Assistant

Job Description: Technical Assistant in Electrical N3 or N6 Location: Midrand, South AfricaContract Duration: 6 Months Position OverviewWe are seeking entrée level electrical artisans assistant from the rail industry to join our team for a 6-month contract based in Midrand.
The ideal candidate will be a trainee electrician who has not completed their artisanship.
You will need to assist the Artisan with maintenance and overhaul of the train fleet.
Key Responsibilities:Installation and maintenance activities on rail fleet overhaul projects.Ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated timeframes and budgets while maintaining quality standards.Health, Safety, and Compliance:Enforce adherence to safety regulations and protocols on-site.Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standards for electrical installations and rail systems.RequirementsQualifications:N3 to N6 Electrician not trade tested as yetSouth African matric certificate or an N3 or N6Experience:Minimum of 1 year of experience in the rail industry or heavy manufacturing industry, with a focus on electrical installations and maintenance.Able to work overtime and on weekendsOther Requirements:Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to project demands.What We OfferHourly rate of R85 / hour on Normal time hours.
