Duties and responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer in the military vehicle field, with at least 5-10 years of experience in designing and developing military vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of defense industry requirements, military vehicle performance standards, and the latest advancements in technology. This role involves leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams from project engineers to draftsmen, and ensuring that the vehicles meet stringent safety, reliability, and operational standards. Vehicle Design Leadership: Lead the design, development, and improvement of various military vehicles, including armored vehicles. Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including suspension, armor, drivetrains and electronics. Project Management: Oversee all stages of the design process, from initial concept through to production, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project goals and military specifications. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to ensure vehicle designs meet the operational requirements and performance criteria. Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet relevant military standards, such as MIL-STD, and comply with defense regulations. Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of junior designers and engineers, providing guidance and expertise to support their professional development.
