AM Security Services is recruiting ARMED RESPONSE OFFICERS to join our Public Safety Response team.
This critical role has the responsibility to ensure that business environments and surroundings are patrolled to ensure the safety and security of our business communities and their customers.
Your mode of transportation will be with a Motorbike, so a valid motorbike driver's license is crucial.
Responsibilities: Ensure quick and appropriate response to clients' emergency callsEnsure visibility at standoff points and during area patrolsEnsure clients' complaints are handled efficientlyEnsure that the disciplinary code is adhered to at all timesEnsure the safety of clients by checking premises thoroughlyMaintain a high standard of servicePossess expert knowledge about all facets pertaining to your positionAttend all meetings and training sessionsKeep vehicle neat and tidy at all timesAssist with any problems or complaintsSubmit comprehensive reports and feedback as requestedComplete daily/weekly checklistsStand off at delegated places during peak hoursHelp residents by advising and identifying possible security risksFollow up with clients after incidents and offer assistancePerform public relations services and introduction calls to new clientsMinimum Requirements: Minimum Psira Grade C (Renewed)Grade 11/12Valid Motorbike Driver's LicenseLive in the surrounding areas of Strand, Somerset West, and StellenboschFirearm Competency – Handgun, Shotgun, and Carbine Rifle (Business Purpose)Armed Response CertificateStatement of Results for firearms training received (SASSETA/PFTC)Experience working as an Armed Response OfficerCandidates must be prepared to undergo Fitness and Firearm proficiency assessmentsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsNeat and presentableNo criminal record
