Area Sales Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive sales and expand business development across Sub-Saharan Africa.
In this role, youll represent the companys brands, products, and services, primarily in the Mining and Minerals Processing, Chemical, Industrial, Oil and Gas, and Nutrition and Health industries.
This position requires frequent travel within the region to engage with key clients and partners.Key Duties:Promote and sell company brands, products, and services in assigned territories, either directly or through local agents and distributorsBuild and maintain strong communication with customers to generate leads and identify business opportunitiesConduct on-site meetings to understand client needs, finalize designs, secure orders, and address any concernsCoordinate with Service Operations to provide customer support, including equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and repairCollaborate with Field Service Technicians to schedule site visits, plant audits, and equipment assessmentsStrengthen relationships with customers and EPCs, focusing on long-term business growthRequirements:Engineering Degree (Mechanical) or equivalent experienceAt least 15 years in a commercial role within the African Mining sectorExperience in industrial equipment sales highly preferredProven track record in sales and business developmentBackground in oil and gas, chemical, or industrial markets advantageousProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Power BIApply Today!
