We at AAF International FZE are currently seeking an experienced professional for the position of Area Sales Manager (Africa). Roles & Responsibilities

Achieve the assigned book & bill sales numbers.
Prospect for new customers and generate new enquiries.
Associate new buyer accounts with the company.
Connect with design consultants for the spec-in activity.
Arrange meeting appointments and visit customer & potential client offices regularly.
Submit desired sales inputs in the required format on time as per company requirements.
Monitor and report market trends, competitor activity, and business pipeline projections in terms of book & bill periodically to the reporting manager.
Maintain an active credible pipeline supporting expected business at all times.
Maintain good business relationships with business partners, regular customers/clients, and key accounts for their business requirements.
Provide techno-commercial assistance in terms of proposals to prospects and customers.
Provide desired inputs from customers/clients to the internal support team responsible for techno-commercial proposals.
Ensure timely collection of payments.
Ensure a healthy product mix in sales.
Work to ensure sales are made at a good margin.
Convert competition accounts into AAF.
Register leads in the CRM.
Update CRM/Zoho on a regular basis.

Knowledge & Experience

Demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
A good track record of acquiring and maintaining direct sales.
Ability to manage multiple commercial opportunities/tasks efficiently.
Ability to qualify requests for quotations, investigate/determine customers' buying motives and economic justification criteria, map decision makers/influencers, and understand the funding process.
Ability/experience in building a compelling Value Proposition based on the qualification process.
Excellent attitude focused on getting the job done quickly and to the highest possible standard.
Experience in negotiating terms and conditions.
A sound knowledge and experience of working proactively using a CRM.
Team player with desired knowledge in sales related to marketing and manufacturing disciplines.
Successful experience with high value-added product selling, pricing, negotiating, and channel management.
General and technical knowledge of HVAC and air filtration products.
CRM and ERP system working knowledge.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
