Reference: NWN000066-NBo-1Our well-established client in the Gambling and Hospitality industry is looking to recruit a self-driven and motivated Financial Operations Manager to add to their division based in Johannesburg East.Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour duties include, but are not limited to:Display people leadership by identifying and managing training, coaching and development requirements in line with strategic plansDeliver financial planning and results by aligning financial strategies with BBBEE transformational agendaEnsure financial governance through the implementation of control measures and checks with each department to mitigate any financial risk to the businessFinancial Operations Management by overseeing the recording and delivery of all financial transactions using the services of the company for all financial functions of the unit to ensure the financial position of the unit is accurate and up to dateStakeholder relationship management through collaboration with the Shared ServicesOwnership of annual audit and financial statementsOwnership of asset control and fixed asset accountingPreparation and review of taxation and tax complianceCompile and maintain budgetsCompile reports and financial packs for submission to the Board of DirectorsEducationBCom in Accounting/ FinanceJob Experience & Skills RequiredCompleted SAICA/SAIPA ArticlesMinimum of 5 years' experience in staff managementRegistered with a Professional Accounting body advantageousIndustry experience: Gambling/HospitalityGreat Plains experience beneficialStrong knowledge of SA Tax/Gambling TaxIntermediate to Advanced Excel skillsAttention to detailEffective communication skillsOrganizational skillsTeam playerDeadline drivenEffectively works under pressurePackage & RemunerationR 360000 - R 396000If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.Please only apply if this ad is relevant to your skill set.
