Requirements Grade 12 (matric)/N3 equivalent/Clothing degree 5 - 8 years experience as an Area Manager - ideally within the Clothing retail sector Knowledge of merchandising principles and fashion Strong leadership and team building skills Must be computer literate SAP knowledge is an added advantage – run/analyze and interpret reports.

Monitors staff appearance Monitors backup areas Monitors new lines available and merchandise according to dispatch guidelines Monitor total range display Monitors store/department housekeeping standards Monitors customer service standards adhered to Identifies staff training needs and coaches Crew Communicates expected standards and processes to the Manager/Crew Provides on-the-job knowledge skills and expertise to Managers/ Crew/Supervisors Approves store Kronos schedules Monitors store overtime costs Ensures promotion and display standards are adhered to Ensures general maintenance standards are adhered to –authorises any necessary
