Role: To contribute towards the management of container stock by ensuring there is a balance between import and export. You will be analysing the commercial forecast and ensuring that we have enough supply while evacuating surplus stock when needed. Responsibilities: Your primary focus will be on the management of equipment throughout your geographic area of responsibility. Analyse and manage stocks (Track and monitor idle empty). Organize empty repositioning. Release equipment. Redeliver equipment. Coordinate container on hire / off hire / sublease / sales. Provide evidence for 2nd Approval on empty storage & transport costs if required. Manage Reuse / Street turn. Manage Seal Stock. Skills and Qualifications:• Grade 12• Tertiary qualification in a related field• +5 years' shipping line experience (preferable in a Logistics or Intermodal role)• Proficient on Microsoft Office. Personal Attributes:• Ability to work under pressure• Excellent people management and leadership skills• Excellent communication skills• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
