We are seeking a passionate and results-driven professional to lead our leisure sales efforts across the Southern Africa Area.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships with clients.

Primary Responsibilities Include: Establish short term and long-term sales strategies in line with the organisational vision and strategy.
Responsible for the strategic leadership of the transient sales team to ensure revenue targets are met.
Research and develop and recommend strategies for brand loyalty and product positioning.
Work with all international BCOs & PCMs and corporate resources to ensure alignment and maximisation of the brands network and assets.
Define and develop the sales plan mix, with Area Director of Sales, to maximise revenue from assigned accounts, markets, segments for the Area.
Determine market scenarios in order to develop long range plans for the Area.
Cultivate and manage relationships with key leisure travel accounts, including tour operators, travel agents, consortia partners (e.g., Virtuoso, AMEX), and luxury travel advisors.
Drive and review revenue for the Area and support area sales initiatives.
Ensure that Leisure sales team have clear and appropriate targets for revenue generated, appointments conducted, and accounts retained and acquired for the Area.
Ensure that measurement systems are in place to track the production of all targeted accounts.
Network with key clients and associations to enhance the overall sales efforts of the Sales team.
Coordinate, review and develop budgets and sales plan for the Area.
Manage a portfolio of existing clients to encourage repeat and new business.
Participate in site inspections and client entertaining as required, which may include out of hours and weekends.
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the Area.
Requirements What You Bring: Senior management experience within the Sales function.
Proven experience in leading successful and motivated Sales teams.
Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative in approach to Sales.
Proven ability to aggressively drive sales and reach targets.
Extensive knowledge and exposure to the luxury travel sector – both locally and internationally.
Thorough knowledge of modern sales & marketing tools and techniques.
Knowledge and experience of the hospitality industry in the local and international sectors.
Good public relations and communication skills.
High degree of computer literacy.
Exceptional people management skills.
Basics of accounting and financial management.
