Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Certification in records management or archival science is advantageous Previous experience in document management or clerical roles is preferred, especially working with document management systems like DocuWare Proficiency on MS Office Suite Responsibilities Scan, upload, and index paper documents into the DocuWare system Maintain the physical and digital filing systems to ensure documents are easily accessible Archive older documents in compliance with company retention policies and regulatory requirements Review and verify document accuracy before final archiving Ensure that documents identified for disposal are shredded in accordance with company policies and data protection regulations Maintain a schedule for periodic document destruction as outlined in the document retention policy Properly dispose of confidential documents after verifying that they have been digitally archived and are no longer required Perform quality assurance checks on scanned documents to ensure data integrity Ensure that document handling, archiving, and shredding processes comply with company policies and legal requirements for data retention and confidentiality Work closely with various departments to ensure timely storage and disposal of critical documents Assist with document retrieval requests from other departments as needed Maintain accurate logs and records of documents scanned, indexed, filed, and shredded TO APPLY: Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
