Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architectural Consultant to join our dynamic team at BNM Builders Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning building projects, from initial consultation with clients to overseeing the construction process. This role requires a blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and practical experience to deliver projects that not only meet client specifications but also contribute positively to the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients and other professionals to determine building type, style, cost limitations, and landscaping requirements.
· Site Analysis: Study the condition and characteristics of proposed sites, considering factors such as drainage, topsoil, trees, and rock formations.
· Design Consultation: Analyse site surveys and advise clients on development and construction details, ensuring that designs blend seamlessly with the surrounding area.
· Preparation of Drawings: Prepare detailed scale drawings and specifications for design and construction, ensuring compliance with local planning and building regulations.
· Planning Approval: Submit design plans and specifications for planning approval, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
· Construction Monitoring: Oversee construction work to ensure it adheres to the approved design and specifications, addressing any issues that arise during the build.
Entry Requirements:
· A professional qualification in architecture, including an accredited degree and postgraduate qualification.
· At least two years of practical experience in architectural design and construction.
· Strong creative and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
· Excellent communication and client management skills.
· Proficiency in architectural design software.
