Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Job Purpose: Provide day-to-day administrative support with readily available advice for security processes and activities to maximize the security of employees, customer shipments and company assets, reduce risk of injuries and job-related threats, and prevent loss and damage in line with business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.
Differentiator: Individual contributor who completes activities or fulfills targets under immediate supervision and guidance and executes assigned tasks according to specific standards and guidelines.Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience.Work is routine or follows standard procedures and is closely supervised.Key Tasks: Under direct supervision, provide day-to-day administrative support for security processes and activities.Perform assigned tasks of generally repetitive nature to support other team members.Undertake generally repetitive tasks such as data gathering, entering and documentation.Gather standard and readily available data for security protocols and procedures.Prepare routine reports and updates for security and evacuation drills, security surveillance, inspection reports, documentation related to dangerous goods, etc.Enter and share routine information regarding workplace injuries, illnesses, absences, accidents, etc. to keep teams updated.Meet standard requests for safety/security assistance from employees.Follow and achieve compliance with set processes and policies.Check recurring routine issues faced during delivery; else escalate to supervisor for inputs and guidance.Stakeholders: Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team.Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.Management Responsibility: Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others.Educational level:Vocational/Specialized/Technical/Certification.
