Position Overview: There is an exciting new vacancy available for an Applications Manager – Corporate Service Solutions at a leading financial services group, within their Business Solutions and Technology Department.
The main purpose of this position is to manage and coordinate the resources in support of current operations and the delivery of new information technology (IT) solutions for the Corporate Services area of the group. Key Performance Areas: Manage operational planning by developing short-term work plans.Manage and improve the workflow and application of processes, procedures, and systems.IT governance, risk andIntegration testing and quality assurance.IT enablement reporting, financial management, information management and project management.Capacity and performance management.Business continuityManage stakeholder relationships.Drive innovation and implement the necessary changes to improve application processes and systems.Execute the IT strategy within the division.Drive the transformation of the Corporate Services systems through implementation and maintenance of a secured and high-availability solution.To be considered for this position, one must have: A completed Honours Degree in Computer Science (NQF 8) or an equivalent qualification.A minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in a complex IT environment with a proven track record of delivering new IT solutions for corporate services.3 years' experience in Managing Corporate Service Solutions (e.
