Main Responsibilities:Design and develop innovative products and systems while maintaining technical integrity.Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.Conduct technical evaluations, product testing, and qualification processes.Identify and implement improvements to existing products based on customer requirements and field feedback.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve product excellence.Strategic Planning:Conduct feasibility studies for new product concepts and establish development milestones.Continuously review product standards to maintain compliance and competitive advantages.Promote a product design strategy aligned with organizational goals.Team Collaboration and Leadership:Allocate resources effectively to meet project needs.Provide training, mentorship, and support to team members.Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage teamwork across departments.Organize and facilitate problem-solving sessions and design reviews.Monitoring and Reporting:Apply corrective actions to address project challenges and ensure deliverables are met.Monitor product evaluations, validations, and testing to ensure quality and reliability.Report progress and provide updates on key projects and technical challenges.Minimum Requirements:Degree or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.Valid drivers license and own reliable transport (extensive travel required).Ability to pass medical assessments.Proficient understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technologies.Strong project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide technical assistance and solve problems effectively.5-7 years of experience in an Applications Engineering role.Experience in the mining, plant, or heavy engineering industries is advantageous.
