Are you someone who can: Ensure customer service solutions are aligned to the business operational plan; Organisational values and service standards.Communicate how customer service solution will be implemented and secures buy-in.Ensure product knowledge and advice is technically accurate and provide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options.Ensure resolution of customer queries and complaints timeously and ownership of issues.Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data.Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and in terms of overall customer targets.Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities.Provide input into the development of the business area tactical strategy in achievement of the objectives.Manage team delivery against goals in the area of responsibility.Manage performance moderation, disciplinary action, recognition and retention processes in line with HR policies and procedures.Participate in Talent Management practices and processes in line with HR policies and procedures.Ensure skills are transferred in specific functions.Lead a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared.Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity synergies.Lead specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement.You will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborate.Work that is challenging.Opportunities to be innovative.Resources to help you with your professional development.We can be a match if you are: Curious & courageous - you're driven by always wanting to know more and learn more and you're brave enough to.Obsessed with mastery - you know what it takes to become good at what you do and are constantly pushing yourself to do it.A team player - you believe in the power of teams so you're always part of one, building and leveraging your networks.Think outside the box – have the ability to not be limited by your surroundings, problem solving is one of the key features that drive you.You'll be an ideal candidate if you meet the following requirements: Minimum: Diploma or required certification.Preferred: Degree and/or relevant certification.5 to 7 Years experience, including at least 3 in a technical team lead/manager role.Preferred: Banking Industry/Cross Border Payments related experience.Tech Stack: Java.Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot.Frontend techs: Apache Wicket, OCEP.ORM Tools: JPA, Spring Data, Hibernate.Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL.Build Tools: Maven.Event based messaging queues: ActiveMQ, KAFKA, RabbitMQ.Job Details Take note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below. 23/01/25
