Sensofinity City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Job Description: Appliance Sales RepresentativeLocation: Cape Town, South AfricaPosition: Appliance Sales RepresentativeEmployment Type: Full-time - Fixed ContractSalary: Competitive, with Commission and BenefitsOverview:We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Appliance Sales Representative to join our team at Sensofinity in Cape Town.The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a keen interest in home appliances, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.As an Appliance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in helping customers find the perfect appliances to suit their needs while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.The candidate will also be responsible to find new sales channels by finding new leads, meet shop owners and demonstrate the product.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement: Greet customers as they enter the store, assess their needs, and provide expert advice on a range of home appliances (specifically vacuum cleaners).Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in home appliances. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, and warranties.Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets by actively promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling complementary items.Demonstrations: Conduct in-store product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various appliances, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring products and retail stand displays are well-displayed, and keeping the sales floor organised and presentable.Customer Service: Provide excellent post-sales support, including arranging deliveries, processing returns, and handling customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism.Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and management to create a positive and collaborative work environment, sharing best practices and assisting during busy periods.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels. Provide regular sales reports to the store manager.New Sales Chanels: Find new sales channels, present the products to business owners or retail buyers in the most professional manner to ensure our brands get onboarded.Qualifications:Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in the home appliance sector, is preferred but not required.Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers. Sales-driven with a proven ability to meet targets.Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of home appliances and the ability to learn and convey technical details to customers. Basic training on the products will be provided, but it will be preferred if the candidate has experience in this field.
