As an API Sourcing Specialist, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to deliver life-saving medications by ensuring the quality and availability of critical APIs. You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to innovation, quality, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing: Develop, implement, and manage effective API sourcing strategies that align with Our Client's broader supply chain goals.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with global API suppliers. Ensure that all suppliers meet regulatory and quality standards.Negotiation & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, aiming to drive cost savings without compromising on quality.Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to assess supply market trends, new supplier opportunities, and potential risks in the API market.Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess risks within the sourcing process and develop plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments, including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D, to ensure that sourced materials meet all necessary standards.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure sourcing activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including maintaining detailed documentation and audit readiness.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
