Our client is seeking a skilled API Developer with experience in PHP and C# to design, to join their team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both PHP and C#, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using PHP and C#.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
Optimize and refactor code to improve performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and bugs.
Ensure API security and compliance with industry standards.
Document API design, development processes, and technical specifications.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as an API Developer with strong proficiency in both PHP and C#.
Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel/Lumen, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Experience with .NET frameworks and C# development.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of source control systems, such as Git.
Familiarity with API testing tools and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS) is a plus.
Experience with API management tools and practices.
