The SAE Institute, Cape Town Campus, is looking for an Animation Lecturer to facilitate learning for the Motion Graphics and Visual Effects / 2D / 3D programmes, with a focus on practical application, theoretical frameworks, workflow, and technique.
RequirementsLegal / Qualification / Certification:
- NQF 8 preferable NQF 9 qualification in area of specialisation
Knowledge / Skill:
Proficient with industry-standard equipment and software including:
Motion Graphics:
- After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
3D:
- Maya, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
2D:
- Toonboom, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Experience:
- 2 years lecturing experience
- 5 years recent industry experience
- Substantial experience in the fields of 2D, 3D, and/or Motion Graphics and Visual Effects.
