Analytical Chemist Vacancy – Intrinsic Quality Manager

Job Description:To support the Adam Tas Manufacturing plant to consistently and reliably produce and distribute products at the lowest possible cost in accordance with global benchmarked standards of reliability, quality, service and costs.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Drive improvement initiatives and process improvement projects.Effective management of fixed capital resources.Manage suppliers according to the company's supplier development strategy.Facilitate problem solving in Quality, Cellar and Packaging environments.Ensure Quality Management systems compliance.Drive manufacturing plant efficiency.Consistently ensure SHEQ (Safety, health, Environmental and Quality) management practices are applied and the department conforms to regulatory and QMS (Quality management systems) requirements.Lead the Intrinsic/Central Laboratory- and Extrinsic Packaging Material Laboratory, and BottlingProcess Control teams.Improve the risk profile of the site.Ensure human capital is utilised effectively and productivelyEnsure adherence to Distell Quality Policy to ensure the consistent production of products that meet and exceed customer and consumer expectations.Drive and assist with continuous improvement in Quality, Cellar and Packaging environments.Ensure that at plant level, in liaison with the QA Manager, that the company's quality management strategic results are met.Consistently meet budgeted cost targets.Job Requirements:Team player with strong relationship building ability.Sound interpersonal and communication skills.Statistical CompetencySound knowledge of Quality Management System requirements, e.g., ISO 9001: 2015, ISO17025 and FSSC 22000 (food safety system).Ability to multi task.Action orientation.Computer literate in MS Office suite.Commercial and Financial Acumen.Well-developed strategic and conceptual skills.High levels of emotional intelligence.Tertiary qualification (diploma or degree) in one of the following fields: Natural Science, Food Science, Analytical Chemistry and/or relevant Engineering background.At least 3 years' experience within a Quality Management (Intrinsic & Extrinsic) environment.Relevant experience in leading teams at a managerial level preferably within an FMCG environment.Project management and problem-solving experience.Articulate with good presentation skills.Excellent leadership ability.Advanced analytical and evaluative skills.Job Details:Company:DistellVacancy Type:Full TimeJob Location:StellenboschApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
