Key Responsibilities:
Working with Planners and Buyers to fully implement the Merchandise Strategy
Dual role, working as an Allocator and Merchandise assistant
Store and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysis
Liaising with suppliers, stores, and the Distribution Centre regarding stock levels, deliveries, and general queries
Monitoring the delivery of stock and taking appropriate action
Replenishment management
Effective communication with stores & Operations
Monitoring product performance to take appropriate action
Regular store visits where appropriate
Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification
Proven working experience as an allocator (1-3 years)
A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
A good working knowledge of the current computer software packages (knowledge of Excel, Word & E-mail preferable)
Excels at data analysis and the ability to draw inferences
Strong business acumen and merchant thinking
