Our programmes are a combination of language classes, exciting excursions, and fun-filled sporting, creative, and social activities.Position Summary:The Airport Coordinator is responsible for welcoming and greeting our students arriving and leaving Malta. The Airport Coordinator makes sure students are safely met and escorted to their Centre by the appropriate member of our staff as efficiently as possible. The candidate possesses a strong focus on customer service quality, attention to detail, punctuality, and great communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students under your care and those you interact with.Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds expectations.Specific duties include:Meet and greet Embassy Summer students on arrival.Assure students arrive on time for departure.Handle airport arrivals and departures of students in a courteous and professional manner.Follow-up on 'No Show' students and communicate thoroughly with the Transfer Manager and Head Office.Organisational Compliance:The job holder will be expected to operate in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct, and any local policies and operating procedures relating to academic, welfare, and safeguarding matters. Employees are required to comply fully with all arrangements in place related to Health and Safety, including implementation and compliance with control measures resultant from risk assessments and engagement with, and completion of, any relevant Health and Safety training.Education Required:Degree-level education or equivalent (or currently pursuing).Valid First Aid Certificate (desirable).Safeguarding Level 1 (desirable – if not in possession, Embassy Summer will provide the necessary courses upon successful selection).Experience Required:Previous experience working in customer-facing industry, ideally with a multi-cultural aspect.Experience Desired:Previous experience working with juniors.Experience managing a summer school environment.Personal Attributes:Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to solve complex problems and manage challenging situations.Uphold appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.Clean driving license/own car (desirable).High attention to detail.Fluent in written and spoken English (knowledge of any other languages is considered advantageous).Eligibility and Safe Recruitment:Must be eligible to work in the EU.Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.All CV gaps must be satisfactorily explained.Proof of identity and qualifications (if applicable) required.Clear Criminal Record Check and references must be provided before signing the contract.Working Week:Primarily on weekends at any time according to students' arrival and departure (could also include early start/finish time such as 3 am). Availability is also required on weekdays according to students' arrival and departure.
