Base pay range$103,409.00/yr - $134,435.00/yr
DutiesServes as crewmember, to include Pilot-in-Command, on operational missions in multi-engine turbine aircraft both domestically and overseas.Serves as a flight and ground instructor in various fixed-wing aircraft.On a rotational basis - or as directed and assigned by the unit commander - performs duty as unit Safety representative and Intelligence Operations Security representative and performs other operations support office functions/duties with little or no supervision.On a rotational basis or as directed and assigned by the unit commander, incumbent serves as the unit's Government Flight Representative (GFR) and Government Ground Representative (GGR) to assure contractor compliance with federal and defense acquisition regulations and other specific clauses cited in performance contracts.Requirements U.S. Citizenship RequiredAll new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.Must be registered for Selective Service.Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit.Must have a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours with 1,000 hours as a Flight Instructor.Must have a thorough knowledge of FAR Part 61, 91, 121, 125 and 135.Drug Testing: This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).Qualifications This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
Certification: A current Commercial Pilot Certificate or the appropriate military rating and must have the FAA Flight Instructor Certificate or the military equivalent rating.
Flight Experience: Total of at least 1500 Total Flight Hours; 250 Pilot-In-Command Hours; 75 Night Flying Hours; 100 Flying Hours in the past 12 months.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
