Airfreight Export Controller (Perishables)

Our client is a top 10 clearing and forwarding agent and is seeking an experienced and eager airfreight export specialist who specialises in perishables. Requirements: Minimum of 5 experience as an Export Controller in Perishable Airfreight exports. - non-negotiable. Excellent understanding of industry and related job requirements for Freight Forwarding.Geographical knowledge and familiar with airline routes and capabilities.Strong persuasive and organizational skills.Ability to liaise effectively with clients and airlines, both telephonically and via e-mail.Detail-orientated and able to work under pressure.Ability to lead.Duties:Processing/issuing of all export documentation: AWB, SAD, Phytosanitary certificate, PPECB, COOs, etc.Airline bookings as per rate agreements.Liaising with clients via e-mail, and telephonically.Maintaining of bookings lists.Daily tracking of shipments.Updating clients on status of shipments.Daily shipment/warehouse planning.Liaising with warehouse.
