Minimum Requirements: Matric/Senior Secondary Qualification (NQF4)Minimum of 2 - 5 Years experience within an Air & Sea Freight Controller positionExperienced in all Imports and Exports (Air/Sea) processes from Collection to Invoicing management of complete Client File will be advantageousMinimum of 2-5 Years experience in a Freight Forwarding Operational Environment (Air & Sea Freight)Must have sound knowledge and experience of working with IncotermsKnowledge of Perishable/Reefer Shipments and all document requirements, PPECB inspections will be advantageousFully computer literate in all MS Office Suite ApplicationsExpert user knowledge and working experience of CargoWise (pre-requisite)Valid Drivers and Own vehicle (advantageous but not a pre-requisite)Key Performance Areas will include but not be limited to: Manage all imports & exports (Air & Sea) and manage client file from A-ZMonitor and complete management of shipments from supplier to consigneeLiaise directly with shipping lines, transporters, customs, and suppliersLiaise directly with customers (origin & destination)Arrange insuranceCoordinate the freight movement and customs clearanceCost freight movement and prepare estimates, arrange insurance cover, and process claimsMonitor cargo tracing and track& trace all shipments to destinationResponsible for registering and updating of all filesCompile and manage all invoicing of filesUploads documents to CargoWise, capture required information in order for entry clerk to processEnsure timeous and correct capturing of information, split documentation, and invoiceEnsure booking of Cargo, monitoring loading dates and keep clients update and informedResponsible for all preparation of export documentationExpedite clearance of outbound and inbound shipmentsEnsure that all paperwork is correctly completed and documentedGenerate export documentationComplete registration of export filesProcessing and submission of documentation - export Bills of EntryEnsure that all tariff headings are correctly appliedArrange documents (Cargo dues/S1 to shipping lines/co-loaders/Eur1/Certificate of Origins/ Phytosanitary certificates/ SADC)Effect creditors disbursements and process debtors invoicesComply with the requirements of the quality management system In return this opportunity will offer: Monthly Cost to Company Salary (negotiable depending on experience and proven track record)Permanent employment opportunitySupportive Management
